8.17.3 Changing the Program
Inserting a New Statement
1. To insert a new statement before the current statement press the CLR key.
2. Line 1 will show the SELECT OP:END. Line 2 will show the 21 available operations (see Table 15,
Default I/O Program). Press the number that goes with the desired operation, then press the TEST
key.
3. The display will either advance to the statement that was current before you inserted the new one or
request more data if needed to perform the operation.
4. Press the MUTE key if you wish to exit the Select Op Menu without adding a new statement.
Shown below are three examples of programmable I/O statements that can be used on the 4724 to obtain
customized status outputs.
Examples:
1. The following statement will cause Terminal 15 on the 4720 to produce an active low output when-
ever there is a fire area alarm in any area:
GET1 @$28.0, PUT1 @$EE. 4
2. The following statement will cause Terminal 16 on the 4720 to produce an active low output when-
ever there is an intrusion alarm in any area:
GET1 @$28.2 PUT1 @$EE.3
3. The following statement will cause the X-10 Module Address 1 from the first house code to be acti-
vated whenever Area 1 (or a non area system) is in entry or exit delay. The module could then be used
